Configuring the order of your Smart Help
The Smart Help settings are used to set the
order that the content channels are displayed in the widget. Additionally, you can hide
certain content channels from displaying.
Note: Refresh the browser page to see
the changes.
- Sign in to Infor OS Portal™ as a user with Infor System Administrator access.
- Navigate to OS Portal, then click Portal.
- Select Settings > General Settings.
- Scroll to the Smart Help settings section.

Select the order in which the content channels are displayed.
You can also hide specific content channels so that they are not displayed in the Smart Help widget.
The content channels that are shown the Selected section are the content channels that are currently displayed in Smart Help. The selected channels are displayed in Smart Help in the order in which they are listed in the Selected section. You can move the channels in the Selected section to change the sort order in Smart Help.
The content channels that are displayed in the Available section are channels that are not currently displayed in your Smart Help pane. You can move the channels from the sections to configure which channels are available in your Smart Help.

To set the order of the content channels:
- In the Selected column, highlight the channel to move.
- Click the channel from the four vertical dots.
- Drag the channel to a new place in the order.

To enable a content channel so that it is displayed in the widget:
- Highlight a content channel from the Available column.
- Click the arrow icon on the Available list and move the channel to the Selected column.

To hide a content channel so that it is hidden in the widget:
- Highlight a content channel from the Selected column.
- Click the arrow icon on the Available column and move the channel to the Selected column
- Click Save.
- Refresh your browser (F5).
