Set up user access for Smart Help

To use Smart Help, users must have these roles.
  • Application Access: Role or roles that give the user access to the application for which Smart Help is running. For example: CloudSuite Financials, Global HR, EAM, CloudSuite Distribution, LN, and so on.
  • IDM-user: Role to access IDM and IDM API
  • Infor-SuiteUser: Default role that provides access to the Infor Ming.le Portal
  • MingleEnterprise: Role to access the User Details API, which is required to pass user email to the Infor Support Portal for KB links
  • SmartHelpUser: Role to view Smart Help, see Adding the Smart Help security role to the Smart Help context application
