Assign the Smart Help security role to existing users

This task must be completed by a user with either the System Administrator access role or the User Management access role.

  1. Log in to the MT Cloud tenant.
  2. From the Infor Ming.le user profile menu, select User Management.
  3. Navigate to Configure > Master Data Types > Security Role.
  4. In the Security Role list, search for the SmartHelpUsers role.
  5. Open the SmartHelpUsers role record.
  6. On the User tab, click Add new item.
  7. On the Assign users to Security Roles overlay, search for and select a user.
  8. Click Add to add the user.
  9. Add additional users as required.
  10. Click Add & Close to add selected users and close the overlay.
  11. Click Save.
    The newly added users are now displayed on the details page for SmartHelpUsers.
    Note: During initial implementation, Infor recommends that you assign the SmartHelpUsers role only to users who will be involved in setup and testing. Later, you can add the Smart Help User role to all users by clicking the Assign to all existing users button.
