Compact order entry

When you set the Compact mode in Sales Hub Properties, the Order tab becomes available.

The Order tab is the starting page in Compact mode, where you can search for customers, search for items, add items to an order, and complete checkout.

After you complete checkout with Account as the payment term, the page returns to the Order panel. The order is processed in the background by the M3 Business Engine, and a confirmation message is displayed. The message includes an option to open the confirmation panel.

If Cash is the payment term, the Cash Desk and Confirmation panels are displayed.

A third option is available in the basket to open the Shipping panel. This option is available when Express Checkout is used.

You can park an order from the header. You can resume parked orders from Open Orders and Quotations on the Homepage. If parked orders or incomplete orders exist, an information icon is displayed. The icon indicates that open orders or quotations are available.
