Item search – Quick Entry

The Quick Entry mode is only available if the user opens the item search in the context of an order.

The Quick Entry mode is selected from the list view selector in the list heading.

This mode exists primarily to support scanning at a cash desk but can be used for item number input as well. The following item identifiers are supported: Item Number, EAN08, EAN13 and UPC. Alias number can also be used if an additional key search is added in 'Key Search. Open' (CMS030).

Note: Additional identifiers such as GS1-128 (EAN-128), are supported through the exit point Quick Entry - Product Conversion in the Exits tab.
