Order type

The available options in this drop-down menu are based on the settings in Order Types, tab General in the Infor Sales Hub Properties. The selected order type controls the behavior of many of the other input fields in the New Order Detail dialog box. Order type from customer setting in General tab is used to control if the order type is taken by default from the customer master file in M3 Business Engine or if the order type must be selected manually.

If you select Not Changeable, then the order type from the customer is selected automatically and cannot be changed. If the customer does not have a default order type, you can select any order type. You can always select order types for quotations.
