Image database

Images can be shown on certain panels in Infor Sales Hub. Use this setting to define how the images are retrieved.

You can use these options:

• Infor Document Management

  Select this option to retrieve images from Infor Document Management (IDM). This is the default option.

  In the Image Query field, you can specify the image query to IDM. If you use this option, the IDM image default query that is defined for Infor Sales Hub in the grid properties, is overridden.

  This query is defined by default for IDM in the grid properties: /MDS_GenericDocument[@MDS_id1="{0}%"]

  Regardless of whether the search query you use is default or custom, the images based on the item number (MMITNO field in MITMAS table) are retrieved first. Then, the images based on the external item number ( MMITNO field in MITMAS table) are retrieved.

  If you set up the string NO_IMAGE_AVAILABLE as the field value for a specific image in IDM, that image is used when no other image is found for an item.

• External image database

  Select this option to use images from an external image data set inInfor Sales Hub. If you select this option, several additional fields are displayed that you can use to integrate Infor Sales Hub with an external image database.

  A unique key for the image is set as its thumbnail and preview. If you set the key value to {itno}%.xxx then the corresponding Item Number is used. For example, a key value set to {itno}%jpg searches for itemnumber.jpg image file.

  You can use these key values:

  • itno
  • ITNO
  • itne
  • ITNE

  The URL for a thumbnail image is used for images in the item search result list.

  The URL for a preview is used to load image file in the Item Details panel.

  Use lower resolution images for thumbnail images to make load them faster.
