Facet definitions
A faceted search breaks up the search result into multiple categories and allows the user to drill-down or further restrict the search result based on the facets.
The following information must be specified:
-
Sequence: The sequence number specifies in which order facets are displayed in the Item search panel.
-
Key search: This field defines the “key search” field used for the faceted search. Should correspond to a record in 'Key Search. Open' (CMS030).
-
Field heading: This field describes the facet and is shown on the Item search panel.
-
Table name: This field defines the M3 BE database table from which the facet is retrieved, for example MITMAS.
-
Facet name: This value is four characters long and corresponds to the field in the selected database used as facet. For example, the item group definition is ITGR and the supplier definition is SUNO.
You can click ADD FACETS to create a new empty row to start input information. The Delete link is used to delete a facet row.
Three records are delivered as a default setting.
Sequence: 1
Key Search: SH_ITEM_FACET1
Field Heading: Item Group
Table name: MITMAS
Facet name: ITGR
Sequence: 2
Key Search: SH_ITEM_FACET2
Field Heading: Supplier

Facet name: SUNO
Sequence: 3

That is, same list as for the facets in the local search.
Records SH_ITEM_FACET1, SH_ITEM_FACET2 and SH_ITEM_FACET3 are also added in 'Key Search. Open' (CMS030) by the Infor Sales Hub content package.
