Item search – Quick Entry

The Quick Entry mode is only available if the user opens the item search in the context of a basket. The drop-down menu in the upper left-hand part of the panel is used to change mode. This is done by changing the value from “Items” to “Quick Entry”.

This mode exists primarily to support scanning at a cash desk but can be used for item number input as well. The following item identifiers are supported: Item Number, EAN08, EAN13 and UPC. Alias number can also be used if an additional key search is added in 'Key Search. Open' (CMS030).
