Adding or modifying flex field group

Use this page to add or modify the flex field group. You can define the flex field for a combination of Facility and Document Type (Level).

  1. Select Master Data Management > Company Info Flex Fields. The Company Info Flex Fields page is displayed.
  2. Click Add Group. The Add/Edit Flex-Field page is displayed.
    Note: You can modify a flex field group, using the View option corresponding to the code on the Company Info Flex Fields page.
  3. Specify or review this information in the Criteria section:
    Level
    The document level (header/line) at which the flex field is added.
    Code
    The code of the flex field to identify the data in inbound and outbound files.
    Label
    The name of the flex field.
  4. Specify or review the below information in the Properties tab.
    Field Type
    The type of flex field.
    Note: Group is the default value for the field.
    Active
    Indicates whether the flex field is used in the documents.
  5. Select the flex field from the Available Flex Field section.
  6. Move the available fields from the Available Flex Field section to the Selected Flex Field section.
  7. Specify the name of the flex field based on different languages in the Description section.
  8. Click Save.
