Creating or modifying SCAC code

Use the SCAC Maintenance page to create or modify the Standard Carrier Alpha Code (SCAC) code.

  1. Select Setup > SCAC Maintenance. The SCAC Maintenance page is displayed.
  2. Click Add. The SCAC Information page is displayed.
    To modify an existing SCAC code, select the check box corresponding to the SCAC and click Edit. The SCAC Information page is displayed.
  3. Specify or modify this information:
    SCAC
    The code of the carrier that transports the shipment.
    SCAC Description
    The description of the SCAC code.
    Type
    The type of the SCAC code. Possible values:
    • SCAC
    • User Defined
  4. Click Save.
  5. Click Add to add the new SCAC code.
  6. Select the check box corresponding to the SCAC and click Delete to delete the SCAC code created.
