Cancelling an Advance Ship Notice

Use this page to cancel the Advance Shipment Notice (ASN) for a shipment.

Note: You can cancel the ASN if the receipt is not received from the customer.

To cancel an ASN:

  1. Select Shipments > View ASNs. The ASN Search Criteria page is displayed.
  2. Specify the search criteria.
  3. Click Continue. The ASN History page is displayed.
  4. Click Cancel corresponding to the Shipper Number. The ASN cancellation page is displayed.
  5. Review this information:
    Facility
    The name of the location from where the demand for the parts is raised.
    Ship To
    The location to which the parts are shipped.
    Deliver To
    The name of the location to which the parts are delivered.
    Ship From
    The location from where the parts are shipped.
    Shipper
    The code of the shipper. You can click the shipper number to view the details of the ASN linked to the shipper.
    ASN
    The ASN number of the published or republished shipper.
    Ship Date
    The date and time at which the shipper is created.
  6. Click Continue.
