File status
The file status enables you to tracks communications through the Supplier Exchange gateway. When a file is sent to (imported) or received (exported) from Supplier Exchange, an entry is created on the File Status page. These indicators are displayed on the page:
- Status: Indicates if the transaction is successful or has failed.
- Stage: Indicates the processing stage of the file.
Based on the values set for the Status and Stage indicators, these are the possible scenarios:
- The Status is set to Failure: Indicates that the file is not processed. The stage indicator displays the point at which the process failed. The error messages provide the details of the error.
- The Status is set to Success and the Stage is not set to the final success stage: Indicates that an undetermined error has occurred. If you are in a hosted environment, you must contact customer support. If you are in an enterprise environment, verify the Gateway log files for STACK and ERROR (found in the second column of information) and then contact support. The success message displayed is false, if the last stage reported is not from the end portion of the list.
- The Status is set to Success with Exception and the Stage is set to Import File Stored with Errors: The files that are not processed completely, are displayed. The Stage field indicates that the failure has occurred during the processing of records from the original file to the file that must be sent.
