Assigning default ship from

Use this page to assign the default ship from for a demand. By assigning a default ship from for the demand(s), a supplier can create a shipper with the demands associated with a specific ship from.

The defaults you establish are used during shipper creation. When creating a shipper, only demand that is associated with the Ship From you select on the Facility and Locations Selection page displays.

  1. Select Setup > Assign Ship From. The Location Selection page is displayed.
  2. Specify the required information.
  3. Click Continue. This information is displayed on the Ship From Association page:
    Customer Part
    The customer defined code of the part for which the discount criteria must be defined.
    Supplier Part
    The supplier defined code for the part.
    Facility \ Facility ID
    The name and ID of the location that issues the demand for the parts.
    Ship To
    The destination to which the parts are to be shipped.
    PO
    The purchase order (PO) number for the parts to be shipped.
    Model Year
    The code of the part that indicates to which year it belongs.
    Eng. Level
    The customer defined code that indicates the required version of the part.
  4. Select the default Ship From for each customer part.
  5. Click Submit.
