Event Management console

The Event Management console (EMC), from the Preferences menu, appears as the Supplier Exchange's homepage. You can view critical exceptions and the status of your company accounts using the EMC. The EMC enables the customers and the suppliers to assess the status of their company accounts using viewing shipment, release, and purchase order summaries, including other statistics and critical exceptions. You can also click hyperlinks to view detailed information.

Customizing the Event Management console

The supplier can customize the EMC to display items that better form to your workflow. You can choose which events display as priority items, which events display as category items, and the order in which categories are listed. You can configure which events display for which product groups and set the associated tolerances. For each product group assigned to an event with a tolerance setting, users select the tolerance permitted before the event displays. If you do not configure the EMC, by default all of the events assigned to your role are displayed in the category table.

Statistics

The statistics on the EMC console are grouped by data categories: Releases, Purchase Orders, Shipments, Receipts, Problem Reporting, and Billing. The default category is the user-defined Priority Items. Users can select a different category by clicking the category's tab.

Charts

Some information on the EMC can be displayed as a chart. This chart provides a visual representation of the statistics. To view a chart, go to the category header and click View as Chart.
