Modifying line item information for shipper

Use this page to modify the line item information for the shipper such as the ship quantity, pull signal and the lot number.

To modify the line item information:

  1. Select Shipments > View Shippers. The Open Shipper page is displayed.
  2. Specify the search criteria.
  3. Click Continue. The Shippers page is displayed.
  4. Click Edit corresponding to the shipper. The Shipper detail page is displayed.
  5. Click Edit corresponding to the line item. The Shipper Line Item page is displayed.
  6. Review the customer and supplier part and Purchase Order number in the Part Information section.
  7. Modify this information:
    Ship Quantity
    The quantity of the part shipped.
    Pull Signal
    The code of the Kanban signal that represents the required quantity of the part.
    CUM Shipped (YTD)
    The total quantity of the part shipped to date.
    Lot Number
    The code for the group of parts that are manufactured at the same time using the same process.
    Net Weight
    The total weight of the parts shipped. Net Weight = Part Weight x Ship Quantity.
    Remarks
    The additional information related to the line item
    PO Line Number
    The PO line number associated with the requirement.
    Schedule
    The schedule number associated with the line item.
  8. Specify this information in the Serials & Lots section.
    Note: This section is displayed only if the Lot Controlled and Serialized Item check boxes are selected for a part in the Part Maintenance page.
    Lot Number
    The code for the group of parts that are manufactured at the same time using the same process
    Lot Quantity
    The quantity of the parts.
    Note: 
    • You must click the Add icon after specifying the lot number and quantity to add the part.
    • You can use the Serials option to include the serial-controlled parts. See: Generating sequence for serial numbers This option is displayed only if the part is serial controlled.
  9. Review the shipment, required quantity and date information in the Purchase Orders section.
  10. Click Save or Delete.
