Defining or modifying detail container for shipper

Use this page to define or modify the detail container information for the shipper. You can also add or delete the additional packaging data for the detail container.

  1. Select Shipments > View Shipper. The Open Shipper page is displayed.
  2. Specify the required information.
  3. Click Continue. The Shipper page is displayed.
  4. Click Edit corresponding to the shipper. The Shipper page is displayed.
  5. Click Edit Containers corresponding to the Packaging Template in the Line Items section. The Containers page is displayed.
  6. Click Edit corresponding to the Container Type in the Master Container List section. The Master Container Information page is displayed.
  7. Click Add in the Detail Container List section. The Detail Container Information page is displayed.
    Note:  You can modify the detail container information using the Edit option corresponding to the Container Code in the Detail Container List section. The Detail Container Information page is displayed.
  8. Specify or modify this information in the Detail Container Information section:
    Container Code
    The code of the container.
    Tare Weight
    The weight of the empty container.
    Units Per
    The quantity of the part shipped in the detail container.
    Serial Number
    The serial number of the container.
    Include in Advance Shipping Notice
    If this check box is selected, the container data is included on the Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN).
    Include in Printing Documents
    If this check box is selected, the container information is printed on the shipping documents.
    Include in Barcode label
    If this check box is selected, the container information is printed on the barcode labels.
  9. Click Add in the Detail Additional Packaging Information section to define the additional detail container packaging. The Miscellaneous Container Information page is displayed.
    Note:  You can define the additional detail container packaging only if the master and detail containers are defined.
  10. Click Save. The Master Container Information page is displayed.
  11. Click Save. The Containers page is displayed.
