SMI Console

Use this page to view the inventory status of the part. The color codes and the values indicate the quantity of the part on hand, in-transit and the maximum and minimum quantity permissible for the part. For more information on the color codes, refer the Legend section.

The information is displayed based on the search criteria specified on the SMI Console Search Criteria page.

Review this information in the Results section:

Field Name Field Description
Inventory Status The quantity of the part on hand, in-transit and the maximum and minimum quantity permissible for the part indicated by the color code.
Last Updated The date and time when the Inventory Status or the part information is last modified.
PO The purchase order (PO) number.
Engineering Level The code of the required version of the part.
UofM The unit of measure for the part.
Average Daily Release (ADR) The average quantity of the part required through releases each day.
Suggested Ship Qty. The quantity of the part that the supplier can ship.
Note:  This value is calculated based on the calculation method specified on the Customer Profile page.
Suggested Delivery Date The date on which the supplier can deliver the required quantity of the part.

Model Year The code of the part that indicates the year when the part is used.
Type The type of the part. Possible values:
  • Production
  • Service
Status The status of the part. Possible values:
  • Consignment: The part is used and returned.
  • Build out: The model year for the part is set to expire.
  • None: The status of the part is neither a Consignment nor Build out.
