Creating or modifying the process

Use this page to create or modify the process related information. You can also modify the operations associated with the process.

  1. Select Outside Processing > Process Management.
  2. Specify the search criteria.
  3. Click Continue. The Process page is displayed.
  4. Click Add in the Process List section. The Process details page is displayed.
    Note: 
    • You can also access this page from the Process Creation menu when creating a process.
    • You can modify an existing process using the Edit option corresponding to the code. The Process details page is displayed.
  5. Specify or review this information:
    Facility
    The name of the facility that outsources activities related to the parts.
    Process Code
    The code of the process.
  6. Specify or modify this information:
    Track by Weight
    Indicates whether weight is considered as a determining factor for the process.
    Process Name
    The name of the process.
    Order
    The sequence number of the operation associated with the process.
    Enabled
    If this check box is selected, the Operation is applicable to the process.
    Code
    The code of the operation.
    Name
    The name of the operation.
    Primary Contractor
    The name of the external contractor (supplier) who executes the operation.
    Duration
    The time required to complete the operation.
  7. Click Add in the Operations section, to add an operation to the process from the Operations page that is displayed.
    Note: You can clear the Enabled check box to remove an operation for the process.
  8. Select the check box corresponding to code in the Operations section.
  9. Click Delete. The application prompts for confirmation of the deletion process.
  10. Click OK.
  11. Click Save.
