IDM Integration

Supplier Exchange is integrated with IDM using ION APIs. This integration enables Supplier Exchange to communicate the attached documents with the integrated applications.

Infor Document Management (IDM) is the interface which stores the attachments for the integrated applications and SE. The attachment files can be Requirements, Product Specifications, certificates, Terms & Conditions, DMN, RFQ, Blanket Purchase Orders, Supplier Invoice Inbound documents and so on.

The attributes must be defined for each business document that supports inbound and outbound BOD flow. IDM synchronizes the uploaded files, allows to view and download the latest document. However, all the other files are deleted after the synchronization is completed.

Note: You can implement the IDM functionality only when the Sync Attachments with IDM check box is selected on the Customer Profiles page.
