Premium Freight Authorization

Use this page to view the Premium Freight Authorization (PFA) details such as the expeditor, carrier, estimated and actual costs.

Review this information in the Header Information section:

Field Name Field Description
Facility The name of the location from where the demand for the parts is raised.
Ship To The location at which the parts are received.
Supplier The name of the supplier responsible for supplying the part.

Review this information in the Details section:

Field Name Field Description
AETC Number The Authorized Excess Transportation Cost (AETC) code assigned to the expedited shipment indicates that the shipping cost that exceeds the contractual terms is permitted.
Date Required The date and time by which the parts must be required.
Expeditor The name of the user (planner) who creates the PFA.
Responsibility The company that is responsible for paying the excess costs related to the expedited shipment.
Dock The code of the dock where the shipment is received.
Estimated Cost The estimated cost for the total quantity of the part, for which the PFA is created.
Actual Cost The actual cost for the total quantity of the part, for which the PFA is created.
Fulfills Existing Requirement Indicates whether the PFA fulfills the existing requirements.
Carrier The code of the carrier that transports the PFA shipment.
Date Entered The date on which the PFA is created.
Authorized By The user who authorizes the expedited shipment.
Reason The code of the reason for which the PFA is created.
Comments The additional information related to the PFA.
