Shipper Characteristics
This section on the Characteristics Set page explains the characteristics for the shipper functionality.
- Line Item Key
- The demand characteristics that define a line item on the shipper
and Advance Ship Notice (ASN). The demand that have the same line item key are
displayed as a single line item. Possible values:
- Part Only: The part number is considered as the determining factor.
- Part and Pull Signal: Items that share the part number and pull signal are included in the same line item. If the part number is similar but the pull signal is different, the requirements are not included in the same line item.
- Part and PO: Items that share the part number and Purchase Order (PO) number are included in the same line item. If part number is similar but the PO number is different, the requirements are not included in the same line item.
- List Pull Signals on Shipper
- If this check box is selected, the pull signals specified on the demand are displayed on the shippers and ASNs.
- List POs on Shipper
- If this check box is selected, the PO numbers specified on the demand are displayed on the shippers.
- Print Detail Container Serial Numbers on Shipper
- If this check box is selected, the serial numbers of the detail container are displayed on the shipper.
