Transfer schedules

The schedule is used to allow periodic file transfers to and from a host computer. A schedule can be set for each computer defined in a computer profile. These activities can be scheduled for each host:

• Send All Documents: This activity imports all documents from the send directory on the host computer to Supplier Exchange.
• Receive All Documents: This activity exports all documents from Supplier Exchange to the receive directory on the host computer. This activity is completed automatically as files are generated by Supplier Exchange. However, scheduling to receive a document is advisable in case of an interruption of an automatic FTP.
• Preprocess All Documents: This activity requires scheduling only if the remote processing is setup. This activity runs the preprocessing trigger file on the host computer to prepare the documents to be sent (imported) from the host.
• A start date is set to the transfer schedule. If the date is modified, the schedule is suspended until the modified date.
