Creating or modifying Restriction Group

Use the Restriction page to create or modify a restriction group. You can define the restrictions at the customer, facility, ship to and ship from levels.

  1. Select Setup > Define Restrictions. The Restriction Groups list page is displayed.
  2. Click New. The Restriction Group Information page is displayed.
    Note:  You can use the Edit option corresponding to the Name to modify an existing restriction group. The Restriction Group Information page is displayed.
  3. Specify or modify this information:
    Name
    The name of the restriction group.
    Description
    The description of the restriction group.
  4. Click Edit corresponding to the Customer restriction level to define the restrictions. The Restriction Group Information page is displayed.
    Note: 
    • The restrictions for a Facility can be implemented only if the restrictions are defined for its corresponding Customer.
    • The restrictions for a Ship To can be implemented only if the restrictions are defined for its corresponding Facility.
  5. Clear the Implemented check box, to remove restriction for a restriction level.
    Note:  If the restriction is removed at the parent restriction level, the restriction for the dependent restriction level(s) is also removed. For example, if the restriction is removed for the Facility, the restriction for the Ship To is also deleted.
  6. Click Submit. The Restriction Groups list page is displayed.
    Note:  You can delete the restriction group using the Delete option. The application prompts for confirmation of the deletion process. Click OK.
