Parts

Supplier Exchange displays the part information based on the customer part number. The parts page displays list of all the customer parts for which demand is received. You can specify the supplier part number and a description for each part. You can also select default containers and packaging for each part. The default packaging can be defined based on the combination of facility and ship to.

Note: 
  • The default packaging defined for a part is used when you import the shippers. However, you can modify the default packaging.
  • If a default container is not defined for the part, the container selected when creating the shipper is set as the default packaging.
