Creating or modifying document profile (Email)

Use this page to create the profile for the documents to be attached to the email notification.

  1. Select Communications > Define Documents. The Document Profiles page is displayed.
  2. Click Add. The Document Profile Details page is displayed.
    To modify an existing profile for the document, click Edit corresponding to Document Format in the Documents For Email Copy section.
  3. Specify this information:
    Document Type
    The document to be transferred. For example, Material Release, Advance Shipment Notice (ASN). The document types are determined by the user profile (customer or supplier).
    File Format
    The format in which file is exported. Possible values:
    • CSV
    • ZML
    • X12
    • EDIFACT
    • PXML
    • VDA
    • ODETTE
    • OXML
    Attach File
    Indicates whether the document is attached to the email notification.
    Contact Name 1
    The user to whom the notification is sent when the document is published.
  4. Click Submit. The document to be attached to the email notification is created.
