Specifying line item information for shipper

Use this page to specify the line item information for the shipper such as the ship quantity, pull signal and the lot number.

  1. Select Shipments > View Shippers. The Open Shipper page is displayed.
  2. Specify the search criteria.
  3. Click Continue. The Shippers page is displayed.
  4. Click Edit corresponding to the shipper. The Shipper detail page is displayed.
  5. Click Add Line Item in the Line Items section. The Shipper Line Item page is displayed.
  6. Specify this information:
    Customer Part
    The customer defined code of the part.
    Supplier Part
    The code of the part.
    Ship Quantity
    The quantity of the part shipped.
    Note:  This value is defaulted based on the Ship Coverage value specified when creating the shipper.
    Pull Signal
    The code of the Kanban signal that represents the required quantity of the part.
    CUM Shipped (YTD)
    The total quantity of the part shipped to date.
    Lot Number
    The code for the group of parts that are manufactured at the same time using the same process.
    Remarks
    The additional information related to the line item.
    Net Weight

    The total weight of the parts shipped.

    Net Weight = Part Weight x Ship Quantity

  7. Click View Requirements. The requirements information is displayed in the Requirements section.
  8. Click Add. The line item requirements are added to the shipper.
