Creating or modifying the Restriction Group

Use this page to create or modify the restriction group. You can define the restrictions for the selected restriction level.

  1. Select Setup > Security > Define Restrictions.
  2. Click New. The Restriction Group Information page is displayed. To modify the restriction group, click Edit corresponding to the name.
  3. Specify or review this information:
    Name
    The name of the restriction group.
    Description
    The description of the restriction group.
  4. Click Edit corresponding to the supplier restriction level, to define or modify the restrictions. The Restriction Group Information page for the restriction level is displayed.
    Note: The restrictions for ship to can be implemented only if the restrictions are defined for the corresponding facility.
  5. Clear the Implemented check box, to remove restriction for a restriction level.
    Note: If the restriction is removed at the parent restriction level, the restriction for the dependent restriction level is also removed. For example, if the restriction is removed for the Facility, the restriction for the Ship To is also deleted.
  6. Click Submit. The Restriction Groups list page is displayed.
    Note: Click Delete, to delete the restriction group. The application prompts for confirmation of the deletion process. Click OK.
