Modifying the Route Template

Use this page to modify the route template for long distance shipments. You can add the checkpoints between the starting (Ship From) and ending point (Ship To) of the route.

  1. Select Shipments > Global Track & Trace > Define Route Templates.
  2. Specify the search criteria.
  3. Click Continue. The Route Templates page is displayed.
  4. Click Edit corresponding to the route ID. The Route Details page is displayed.
  5. Specify this information in the Route Information section:
    Route ID
    The name or code of the route.
    Route Description
    The description of the route.
    Long-Distance Shipment
    The name of the shipment defined as the long-distance shipment for the combination of the ship from and ship to.
  6. Click Add in the Route Checkpoints section. The Checkpoint Details page is displayed.
  7. Specify the order sequence for the checkpoint locations.
  8. Click Edit corresponding to the order to modify the checkpoint details. The Checkpoint Details page is displayed.
  9. Select the check box corresponding to the order and click Delete. The application prompts for confirmation of the deletion process. You can delete only the checkpoints between the starting and ending checkpoints.
  10. Click OK.
  11. Click Save. The Route Templates page is displayed.
