Specifying customer profile information

Use the Setup Customer Profiles page to configure parameters for the customer profile. This impacts the customer usage of the application.

  1. Select Setup > Implementation > Customer. The Setup Customer Profiles page is displayed.
  2. Specify this information on the Customer Information tab:
    Customer Name
    The name of the customer.
    Characteristic Set
    The characteristic set defined for the customer.
    Status
    Indicate the status of the customer profile. Possible values:
    • In Implementation
    • Production Ready
    • Test / Demo
    • Inactive
    Integrated Application
    The ERPs that are integrated with Supplier Exchange.
    • Others
    • LN
    • M3
    Supplier Limit
    The number of suppliers that can be created for the customer.
    Enable Shipping
    Select this check box to enable the Shipments functionality.
    Enable Discrete PO
    Select this check box to enable the Discrete POs functionality.
    Enable Releases
    Select this check box to enable the Releases functionality.
    Enable Proposed PO
    Select this check box to enable the Proposed POs functionality.
    Enable Blanket PO
    Select this check box to enable the Blanket POs functionality.
    Enable Receipt
    Select this check box to enable the Receipts functionality.
    Enable AETC
    Select this check box to enable the Authorized Excess Transportation Cost (AETC) functionality.
    Enable Parts Per Million
    Select this check box to enable the Parts Per Million functionality.
    Enable Supplier Performance
    Select this check box to enable the Supplier Performance functionality.
    Enable VAN
    Select this check box to enable the customer to communicate using the Value-added network (VAN).
    Enable Premium Freight
    Select this check box to enable the Premium Freight functionality.
    Enable Kanban
    Select this check box to enable the Kanban functionality.
    Enable SMI
    Select this check box to enable the Supplier Managed Inventory (SMI) functionality.
    Enable PPAP
    Select this check box to enable the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) functionality.
    Enable DPR
    Select this check box to enable the Delivery Performance Review (DPR) functionality.
    Enable DMN
    Select this check box to enable the Defective Material Notice (DMN) functionality.
    Enable Self Billing
    Select this check box to enable the Self Billing invoice functionality.
    Enable Miscellaneous Invoices
    Select this check box to enable the Miscellaneous Invoices functionality.
    Enable Remittance Advice
    Select this check box to enable the Remittance Advice functionality.
    Enable Global Track & Trace
    Select this check box to enable the Global Track & Trace functionality.
    Enable Outside Processing
    Select this check box to enable the Outside Processing functionality.
    Enable Product Invoices
    Select this check box to enable the Product Invoices functionality.
    Enable Document Management
    Select this check box to enable the Document Management functionality.
    Enable RFQ
    Select this check box to enable the RFQ functionality.
    Enable RFQ Creation
    Select this check box to enable the RFQ Creation functionality.
    Enable Surveys
    Select this check box to enable the Surveys functionality.
    Enable Supplier Onboarding
    Select this check box to enable the Supplier Onboarding functionality.
    Enable Supplier Auditing
    Select this check box to enable the Supplier Auditing functionality.
    Enable Non-Conformance Reporting
    Select this check box to enable the Non-Conformance Reporting functionality.
    Note: This check box is only enabled if the Supplier Auditing check box is selected.
    Enable Division
    Select this check box to enable the Division functionality.
    Enable iProcurement
    Select this check box to enable the iProcurement functionality.
  3. Select the language in which the application must be displayed on the Language Selection tab.
  4. Specify this information on the Additional Settings tab:
    Run Frequency
    The frequency in which the EMC events are updated.
    Password Expiration Days
    The number of days the password of a user profile is valid.
    Passcode Length
    The length of the password.
    Enable Multi-Factor Authentication
    Select this check box to enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for suppliers.
    Passcode Time Limit (Minutes)
    The duration after which the passcode expires. The value is expressed in minutes.
    Email Id
    The email address of the customer to whom all the outbound emails generated by the application are sent.
    Email Signature
    The signature to be displayed at the end of the email.
    Use Logo Image in Email
    Select this check box to view the logo in the email body of the banner screen.
    Demand Filter Maximum Record Limit
    The maximum number of demands that can be displayed on the Releases page.
  5. Specify this information in the Security Preferences section:
    Enable Multi-Factor Authentication
    Select this check box to enable Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) for suppliers.
    Passcode length
    The length of the passcode.
    Passcode Time Limit (Minutes)
    The time after which the passcode expires. The value is expressed in minutes.
  6. Specify this information in the Address Information section:
    Address
    The address of the customer.
    City
    The city in which the customer is located.
    Country
    The country in which the customer is located.
    State or Province
    The state or province in which the customer is located.
    Postal Code
    The postal code of the city where the customer is located.
    Time Zone
    The time zone in which the customer is located.
  7. Specify this information in the EMC Information and Filter Restrictions sections:
    Run Frequency
    The frequency at which the EMC events are updated.
    Demand Filter Maximum Record Limit
    The maximum number of demands that can be displayed on the Releases page.
  8. Specify this information in the Outbound Email Settings section:
    Email Id
    The email address of the customer to which all the outbound emails generated by the Infor Supplier Exchange application, are sent.
    Email Signature
    The signature to be displayed at the end of the email.
    Use Logo Image in Email
    Select this check box to view the logo in the email body of the banner screen.
  9. Click Save.
