Adding Company Information

  1. Select Setup > Master Data > Company Information. The Company Information page is displayed.
  2. Click Add Company. The Company Details page is displayed.
    Note: 
    • Users with administrator role can create new companies only if the Company Enablement check box is selected on the Company List page.
    • If the Enable Super Admin check box is selected on the Customer page, only users with super administrator role can create a company.
  3. Specify this information in the Company Information section:
    Company Name
    The name of the company.
    Note: This name must be the same as defined in the integrated ERP.
    Supplier Limit
    The number of suppliers that can be registered with the company.
    Note: By default, the maximum number of suppliers that can be registered with a company is displayed. However, you can modify this value.
    Operations Type
    The type of operation that is managed by the company.
    Duns Number
    The nine-digit unique number associated with the company.
    Contact Name
    The name of the contact.
    Language
    The language in which the application must be displayed.
    Currency
    The currency in which the invoice must be generated.
    Characteristic Set
    The name of the characteristic set.
  4. Specify the address details of the company on the Address tab.
  5. Specify this information in the ION Information section on the Additional Settings tab:
    Accounting Entity ID
    The entity ID based on which Inbound and outbound BODs are processed for the company.
    Note: BOD is processed only if:
    • The Logical ID is not specified or used in multiple companies, for the integrated ERP.
    • The entity ID is unique for each company.
    Location ID
    The ID that is used for Outbound BODs.
    External Logical ID
    The logical ID to process Inbound BOD to the company.
    Note: BOD is processed only if this ID is same as the logical ID in the BOD.
    Financial Accounting Entity ID
    The ID that is used to process financial BODs to the appropriate company.
    Note: If this application is integrated with LN and the financial company is linked with the logical company:
    • The accounting entity of the financial company is published in the financial BODs, such as Remit to Party Master, Financial Party Master, and Supplier Invoice Remittance Advice.
    • The financial accounting entity is specified in outbound BODs published from Supplier Exchange.
    Financial Location ID
    The Financial Location ID that is sent in the outbound financial BODs.
  6. Specify the information to be included in the email, in the Outbound Email Settings section.
    Note: 
    • This section is displayed only if the Primary Company check box is selected for a company on the Company Information page.
    • You can also select the Use Logo Image in Email check box to use the logo image in the email. This image is defaulted from the file that this uploaded in the Logo File field on the Characteristics Set page.
  7. Select an option to link a facility to the company, in the Facility Mapping section. Possible options:
    • None: The traditional mapping method (Customer Party ID) is used.
    • Customer Party Location ID
    • Data Area Location ID
    • Accounting Entity
    • External Logical ID
    Note: You can click the Instructions icon to view when a value must be used for mapping the facility.
  8. Click Save.
