Creating a user profile
- Select Setup > Security > Define Users. The Users page is displayed.

Click Add. The
User page is displayed.
Note: You can also modify an existing user profile using the View icon on the Define Users page.

Specify this information on the User
Profile tab:
- Name
- The name of the user.
- Type
- The type of user. Possible values:
- User
- Contact
- Contact and User
- Job Title
- The job title of the user.
- Admin

Select this check box to assign administrator role to the user.Note:
A user with administrator role can modify other user profiles.
- Active
- Select this check box to set the user profile as Active.
- User Name
- The login ID for the user.
- Admin Current Password
- The password of the Admin User. This field is displayed only for the admin user profile.
- New Password/ Confirm New Password
- The login password for the user.
- Role
- The role for the user account that determines the user access to the application.
- Specify the address details of the user on the Address tab.
- Specify the contact details of the user on the Contact Information tab.
- Specify the display preferences such as the Date Format, Language, Theme for the user on the Preferences tab.

Select a company in the Companies Association section on the
User Permissions tab, to view the
facilities that are specific to the company.
Note:
- The facilities and approval limit are displayed in the Company Facility Association section.
- You can also modify the approval limit or facility for the company.
- Specify a default Company, Facility, Ship To and Restriction Group for the user on the Defaults tab.

Click Submit.
You can also use these options on the page:
- Delete: Enables you to delete the user profile. However, the user data is retained in the database.
- Anonymize: Enables you to hide or mask the user profile data. The user personal data, such as email, contact, and address, is marked with asterisks (****).
- Export XML: Enables you to export the user data in the .xml format.
Note: The Anonymize and Export XML options are displayed only to users with the administrator role.
