Managing container information
Use this page to add, modify and delete the container information. The containers are defined by the customer. Suppliers can add additional information to the containers specified.
- Select Setup > Containers. The Container Selection page is displayed.

Specify or review this information:
- Container Code
- The code of the container. The AIAG standard code where the first three letters indicate the type of container and the last two characters indicate the container material. For example, BOX25 indicates that the container is a box made of corrugated or solid cardboard.
- Description
- The description of the container code.
- Returnable
- Indicates whether the container is returned.
- EDI Code
- The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) code for the container as it is encoded in the EDIFACT or X12 documents.
- Tare Weight
- The weight of the container when empty.
- Tare Weight Unit of Measure
- The unit of measure for the
Tare Weight. Possible
values:
- Kilograms
- Pounds
- Not Applicable

You can use these options:
- Add: To add the container information, select the Container Code and specify the required information. Click Add.
- Update: To modify the container information, select the Container Code and specify the required information. Click Update.
- Delete: To delete the container information, select the Container Code and click Delete.
