Creating an RFQ line

Use this page to create an RFQ line.

  1. Select RFQ > RFQ Management. The RFQ Management page is displayed.
  2. Click Add. The Create page is displayed.
  3. Click Add on the Lines tab. The Create Line page is displayed.
  4. Specify this information:
    Line Number
    The RFQ line number.
    Part
    The code and description of the part associated with the RFQ.
    Quantity
    The quantity of the part for which the RFQ line is created.
    UOM
    The UOM for the part.
    Note: The options in this field are displayed only if the UOM group is defined on the Part Maintenance page for the selected part.
    Target Price
    The expected price per unit of measure of the part.
    Note: This field is displayed only if the Show Target Price to Supplier check box is selected on the Customer Profile page.
    Ship To
    The name of the location at which the parts are received.
    Note: This value is defaulted from the Default Ship To field on the User Profile page.
    Carrier
    The code of the carrier that transports the shipment.
    Required date
    The date on which the part is required by the customer.
    Outcome
    The expected outcome for the RFQ line.

    Possible values:

    • Purchase Order
    • Purchase Agreement
    MPN (Manufacturer Part Number)
    The manufacturer-defined code of the part.
    Note: This field is displayed only if the Enable MPN Functionality check box is selected on the Customer Profile page.
    Manufacturer
    The name of the manufacturer.
  5. Specify the information on the Additional Information tab.
    Note: The fields on this tab are displayed based on the data specified on the Flex fields page.
  6. Review the documents in the Attachments tab.
  7. Click Save.
