Modifying bid information for RFQ

Use the Bid tab on the RFQ Response page to negotiate the supplier response to the Request For Quotation (RFQ) line by proposing changes to the information such as the delivery date, price and the price expiration date.

  1. Select RFQ > RFQ Management. The RFQ Management page is displayed.
  2. Click the Edit option corresponding to an RFQ. The RFQ View page is displayed.
  3. Click the Line number corresponding to the RFQ number for which you want to view the response from the suppliers. The Response details page is displayed.
  4. Click the Bid tab.
  5. Modify this information:
    Primary Bid
    Indicates whether the bid is related to the primary part as indicated by the supplier.
    Delivery Date

    The date from which the part linked to the RFQ line is required. You can modify the delivery schedule specified by the supplier. The Add Delivery Schedule tab is displayed.

    Delivery Thru Date
    The date up to which the parts are required.
    Quantity
    The quantity of the part for which a quote is received from the supplier.
    Price Book (Volume based pricing)
    The entity that stores the price information specified by the supplier. You can modify the price book details. The Add PriceBook tab is displayed.
    Price
    The price per unit of measure associated with the part.
    Price Expiration Date
    The date up to which the part is shipped at the price specified in the Price field.
    Total Additional Cost
    The additional cost that is added to the total bid.
    Note: The value of this field is defaulted from the additional cost flex field on the Add/Edit Flex Field page.
    Discount (%)
    The discount percentage applicable to the specified Price.
    Discount Amount
    The total discount amount applicable to the RFQ line.
    Net Price
    The total price for the specified quantity of the part.
    Net Price = (Quantity * Price) - Discount Amount
    Total Bid
    The sum of Net Price and the landed costs associated with the RFQ line.

    Total Bid = Net Price + Landed Costs

  6. Click Save.
