Creating a work order

Use this page to specify the criteria to create the work order for the part to be processed.

  1. Select Outside Processing > Work Order Creation.
  2. Specify this information:
    Issuing Facility
    The name of the location that creates the work order for the part to be processed.
    Issuing Ship From
    The name of the location from where the parts to be processed are sent.
    Part
    The code of the part.
    Quantity Issued
    The quantity of the part sent for processing.
    Process
    The name of the process that must be executed for the part.
    Work Order ID
    The code of the work order.
    Shipper ID
    The code of the shipper.
    Issue Date
    The date on which the work order is created.
  3. Specify this information in the Final Destination section:
    Facility
    The facility to which the processed part is delivered.
    Ship To
    The name of the location to which the processed part is delivered.
  4. Click Create. The Work Order details page is displayed.
