Defining the search criteria for Defective Material Notices

Use the Manage DMNs page to specify the search criteria for the Defective Material Notices (DMNs) that are displayed on the DMN list page.

  1. Select Defective Materials > Manage DMNs.
  2. Specify this information:
    Supplier
    The name of the supplier responsible for supplying the part.
    Facility
    The name of the location from where the demand for the parts is raised.
    Note: This value is defaulted from the Default Facility field on the User Profile page.
    Ship To
    The name of the location at which the parts are received.
    Note: This value is defaulted from the Default Ship To field on the User Profile page.
    Part
    The options based on which you can specify the parts. Possible values:
    • List Parts: You can select the code of the part in the Part List field.
    • Select Parts: You can specify the range of parts in the Part Start and Part End fields that must be displayed in the Part List field.
    Note: All the parts are considered in the search criteria, if this field is set to Please Select an Option.
    Part Start
    The code of the part from which the parts are displayed in the Part List field.
    Note:  This field is displayed only if the Part field is set to Select Parts.
    Part End
    The code of the part up to which the parts must be displayed in the Part List field.
    Note:  This field is displayed only if the Part field is set to Select Parts.
    Part List
    The list of parts. The parts are displayed based on the value set in the Part field.
    Action Required After
    The date from which the DMNs that require the containment response are displayed.
    Action Required Before
    The date up to which the DMNs that require the containment response are displayed.
    State
    The status of the DMN. Possible values:
    • Unpublished
    • Response required
    • Closed
    DMN
    The code of the notification.
  3. Click Continue. The Defective Material Notices list page is displayed.
