Defining the criteria to create DMN

Use the Create DMN page to specify the criteria to create a Defective Material Notice (DMN).

  1. Select Defective Materials > Create DMN. The New DMN page is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Supplier
    The name of the supplier responsible for supplying the part.
    Facility
    The name of the location from where the demand for the parts is raised.
    Note: This value is defaulted from the Default Facility field on the User Profile page.
    Ship To
    The location at which the parts are received.
    Note: This value is defaulted from the Default Ship To field on the User Profile page.
    Part
    The code of the part for which the DMN is created.
  3. Click Continue. The DMN details page is displayed.
