Defining or modifying restrictions

Use this page to define or modify the restrictions for the selected restriction level.

  1. Select Setup > Security > Define Restrictions.
  2. Click New. The Restriction Group Information page is displayed. To modify the restriction group, click Edit corresponding to the name.
  3. Specify this information:
    Name
    The name of the restriction group.
    Description
    The description of the restriction group.
  4. Click Edit corresponding to the restriction level, to define or modify the restrictions. The Restriction Group Information page for the selected restriction level is displayed.
  5. Review this information:
    Name
    The name of the restriction group.
    Description
    The description of the restriction group.
  6. Select the value in the Restricted section. The data displayed in this section is based on the selected restriction level on the Restriction Group detail page.
  7. Click the arrow to move the selected value to the Allowed section. You can also move the value from the Allowed section to the Restricted section.
