Creating Host Profile
Use this page to create the profile for the host computer used for receiving or sending the files.
- Select Communications > Define Hosts.
 - Click Add in the Host Details section. The Computer Profile page is displayed.
 - 
             Review this information: 
		  
            
- Host Name
 - The name of the host system used for receiving or sending the files.
 
- Protocol
 - The method used for file
			 transfer. Possible values: 
			 
- AutoEx FTP
 - BUS
 - EDS ELIT FTPs
 - FTP (File Transfer Protocol)
 - GXS ICS FTPs
 - IBM IE FTPs
 - Infor Open SOA
 - Sterling Commerce FTP
 
 - Facility
 - The name of the location from where the demand for the parts is raised.
 - External Logical ID
 - The logical ID to identify the ERP
			 package instance in an SOA environment. 
			 Note: This field is applicable only if the Protocol is set to Infor Open SOA.
 - User ID
 - The user ID for the host system.
 - Password
 - The password for the host system.
 - Confirm Password
 - Verifies that the Password specified is correct.
 - Operating System
 - The operating system installed on the host system.
			 Possible values: 
			 
- UNIX
 - OS400
 - DOS
 - WINDOWS
 
 - Address
 - The Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) address of the host system.
 - Port Number
 - The FTP port number used for communication. This default value is 21. However, the value can be modified.
 - Time Zone
 - The time zone of the host system.
 
 - Click Submit. The Host Profiles page is displayed.
