Defining the search criteria for packaging templates

Use the Packaging Maintenance page to specify the search criteria for the packaging templates that are displayed in the List of Packages section.

  1. Select Setup > Master Data > Packaging Maintenance. The Packaging Maintenance Search Criteria page is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Facility
    The name of the location from where the demand for the parts is raised.
    Ship To
    The location to which the parts are shipped.
    Template Code
    The code of the packaging template.
    Customer Part
    The customer defined code of the part.
  3. Click Search. The List of Packages section is displayed. In this section, you can:
    • Create a packaging template for the parts using the Add. The Packaging Maintenance page is displayed.
    • Modify the packaging template for the parts using the Edit option corresponding to the package template. The Packaging Maintenance page is displayed.
    • Delete the packaging template. Select the check box corresponding to the package template and click Delete.
    • Copy the packaging template. Select the check box corresponding to the package template and click Copy. The Copy Template page is displayed.
