Modifying the guest rooms control settings for a site

  1. Select Settings > Guest Rooms Control > Guest Rooms Control Settings by Site. The Guest Rooms Control Settings page is displayed.
  2. Select a site for which you require to modify the details.
  3. Specify this information in the Guest Rooms Control Settings section:
    Revenue Center
    The type of service for which the revenue is generated.
    Applied Rates
    The type of charge applied to the revenue center.
    Include Guest Rooms Charges in Event Total
    Select this check box to ensure that the check box is selected by default when displayed on the appropriate page..
    Use Blocked for Average Daily Rate
    Select this check box to calculate the Average Daily Rate based on the number of guest rooms that are blocked for an event.
    Apply Use Blocked For ADR To Existing Events
    Select this check box to apply the Average Daily Rate calculation of the guest room blocks to an existing event.
    Use Inclusive Pricing
    Select this check box to ensure that the check box is selected by default when displayed on the appropriate page.
    Reduce Inventory Counts for Specified Bookings
    The calendar displays the inventory counts/number of bookings based on the selected option. Possible values:
    • All Bookings: Includes all the bookings.
    • Bookings at Tentative or beyond: Includes tentative and definite bookings only.
    • Bookings at Definite or beyond: Includes definite bookings only.
    Default Forecast Occupancy Type
    The type of default occupancy used for revenue forecasting.
    Cutoff Days in Advance
    The number of days considered to calculate the cutoff date automatically when creating a guest room block.
    Show Prospect Bookings Row
    Indicates whether the Prospect Bookings row is displayed on the GRC Calendar.
    Note: By default, this check box is selected. You must clear the check box if you are required to hide the Prospect Bookings row.
  4. Select the Use Guest Rooms Control Default Rates check box, in the Use Guest Rooms Control Default Rates section, to update the default room rates specified in the Settings, for the guest rooms control rates values when copying an event.
  5. Click Save.
