Manage Ingredients

The Ingredients page enables you to add detailed information related to ingredients that are used in the preparation of food or beverage.

You can specify the cost and quantity for each ingredient, including the purchase price, quantity, and unit of measure. When the purchase cost of an ingredient is updated, the revised cost is automatically applied to all new booked event menus and service items that include the ingredient.

The ingredients are used to build service item recipes. You can add the ingredients to the recipe on the Manage Service Items page of the Event Services Settings page using Recipe option.

The data displayed on this page is based on the values specified in the Division and Site fields.

The ingredient name can be specified in the Search String field to search for specific details of the ingredient.

The page displays the detailed information of ingredients and indicates whether the category is defined in the Master List site.

You can also use this page to:
  • Add ingredient details, using the New option.
  • Modify the details of existing ingredient details, using the Edit option.
