Events Calendar

The Events calendar page enables you to view the upcoming and the past events, to plan and perform business related activities.

The data on this page is displayed based on the values specified in the Site and Date fields. To view an accordion corresponding to each site with the status colors defined for the applicable sites, you must enable the Event Calendar Legend option.

The information related to an event is displayed in a specific format when you rest the pointer on the event in the calendar.

Note: 
  • You can also select more than one site to view the related events booked for multiple sites.
  • When multiple sites are selected in the Site field, a separate section for each site with related details is displayed in the events calendar.

You can specify the Start Time and End Time to view the events that are created within the selected time range.

These are the four types of views for the event calendar:
  • Month: A monthly view of events booked for a selected month.
  • Week: A weekly view of the events booked for a selected week.
  • Day: A full day view of events booked for a selected date.
    Note: The event status badges are displayed on the event calendar, if you select this view.
  • Multiple Day: A multiple day view of events booked for a selected number of days.
    Note: 
    • The guest room blocks along with events are displayed in this view.
    • This view displays the incremental series in hours within which, you can view the events. You can view the approximate start and end time of an event and the event function.
You can view the functions by event name or function type on the Week, Day, and Multiple Day views, based on the configuration set in the Settings functionality.
Note: This configuration is applicable to all the sites related to an enterprise.

You can click the left and right chevron icon to move forward and backward to view events booked for a selected month, week, date, or multiple dates. To move forward and backward by year, you can click the left and right double chevron icon. The details of an event are displayed in a window, if you click on the event. When the event is pending, an icon displayed to indicate the pending status of the event.

You can drag and drop an event and the related function to modify the start date, time, and location of a function in the events calendar. To change start and end time, you can rest the pointer over the function in the Week or Day view and drag the arrows left or right on either side of the function.

If you drag and drop an event that is scheduled at a location which is already booked for another event at the same time and date, the application displays a warning message to confirm whether the function status can be set to pending.

The event name or function type is displayed with a row with diagonal lines to indicate that the status of the function is pending in the, Day, and Multiple Day views in the Events Calendar. This enables you to identify scheduling conflicts or waitlisted events.

The Events, Functions, and Master Events recently added or viewed are displayed on the breadcrumb. You can rest the pointer on a business type to view details such as the name and the start date of the business type.

You can click the toolbar on the left of the page to view additional options. The event related details can be viewed on the calendar based on the options enabled in the toolbar. See Events Calendar toolbar.
