Hold Types

The Hold Type page enables you to add a type of temporary charge that can be applied to a guest credit or debit card during their stay.

The page displays the data related to the hold type and indicates whether the hold type is defined in the Master List site. The field code value displayed on this page is used to map the SCS application with the third-party application.

The data displayed on this page is based on the values specified in the Division and Site fields.

You can also use this page to:

  • Add a hold type, using the New option.

  • Modify the details of an existing hold type, using the Edit option.
