Adding or modifying a service period
- Select Settings > Reservations > Manage Service Periods. The Manage Service Periods page is displayed.
- Select a Division and a Site to which a service period must be added.
- 
				Click New Service Period. The
						Edit Day of the Week Service Period page is
					displayed.
				Note: You can modify the existing service period using the Edit option corresponding to the name of the service period.
- 
				Specify this information in the Service Period Details
					section:
				- Name
- The name of the service period.
- Day of the Week
- The day of the week of the service period.
- From Date
- The start date and month of the service period.
- To Date
- The end date and month of the service period.
- Start Time
- The start time of the service period.
- Use end of day (midnight)
- Select this check box to enable the end time of the service period.
- End Time
- The end time of the service period.
 - Floor Plan
- The layout of a restaurant.
 - Availability Matrix
- The availability of assets during the service period.
 - Pace Limit Group
- The period during which a specific number of reservations can be booked.
 - Turn Rate Group
- The estimated time for a booking to end based on the number of guests in a group.
 - Wait Station Template
- A template with grouped assets that are to be served by a specific server.
 - Reservation Price Group
- The name of the reservation price group.
- Service Item Price Group
- The price group that allows prices to be associated with items that can be added to a reservation.
- Reservations Cannot Extend Past Service Period End
- Select this check box to restrict the availability of the
								reservation from extending past the end time of the service period
								when booking a reservation.Note: This check box is displayed only if you are assigned to the Administrator role and select the Reservations Cannot Extend Past Service Period End check box in Settings.

				Select one or more of these check boxes in the Closed for Service
						Details section:
				- Closed for Service
- Closed for Reservations
- Closed for Internet Reservations
 
- 
				Select one or more of these check boxes to override the credit card settings
					configured in the Reservation
						Financials settings:
				- Override to Require Guarantee for Reservations
- Override to Require Guarantee for Guest Portal Reservations
- Override to Disable Guarantee for Reservations
- Override to Disable Guarantee for Guest Portal Reservations
 Note: The Reservation Financials settings is used for the check box that is not selected.
- Specify the number of guaranteed guests in the Override Guarantee Party Size field to override the number specified in the Reservation Financials settings.
- Select the Require Guest Room Reservation ID check box in the Service Period Requirements section to ensure a valid room reservation ID is specified.
- Click Save.
