Manage Gateway Agents

The Gateway Agents are used to authorize API requests from third party systems. When you create or edit a Gateway Agent account, you can set a username and select the appropriate API end points to which the agents are provided access. The username and password of the agent are sent to SCS API endpoints for the required authorization.

You can use this page to view details related to gateway agent username and role and whether the gateway agent record is active. The Locked column indicates whether the gateway agent record is locked due to multiple failed login attempts.

The Use For Cvent Interface column indicates whether the gateway agent is using Cvent Interface.

You can select Include Inactive check box to view the inactive gateway agent record. The gateway agent username or description can also be specified in the Search String field to search for the specific gateway agent record.

You can also use this page to:
  • Add gateway agent record, using the New option.
  • Modify the details of existing gateway agent record, using the Edit option. Reset the gateway agent password, using Change Password option.
  • Deactivate the existing gateway agent record, using Deactivate option.
