Adding or modifying hierarchical authorization to a user

  1. Select Settings > Users > User Settings > Manage User Hierarchy Authorization..The Manage User Hierarchy Authorizations page is displayed.
  2. Click New. The Edit Manage User Hierarchy Authorizations page is displayed.
    Note: You can modify the details of the existing hierarchical authorization to the user, using the Edit option.
  3. Specify this information in the Authorization Details section:
    Name
    The name of the user to whom the hierarchical authorization is provided.
    Description
    The description of the hierarchical authorization provided to the user.
    Level Type
    The type of organizational level (Enterprise/Division/Region/Business Unit/Site) hierarchy provided to the user.
  4. Select the appropriate options in the fields in the Viewable and Editable Hierarchy Levels section.
    Note: The fields in this section are enabled based on the value selected in the Level Type field.
  5. Click Save.
