Adding or modifying a gateway agent
- Select Settings > Users > User Settings > Manage Gateway Agents.The Manage Gateway Agents page is displayed.

Click New. The Add
Gateway Agent page is displayed.
Note: You can modify the existing gateway agent record, using the Edit option. The new password of the gateway agent can also be reset in the Change Password section.
- Specify this information:
- Username
- The name of the gateway agent.
- Description
- The description for the gateway agent.
- Password
- The password for the gateway agent to access the existing record.
- Verify password
- The revalidation of the password to ensure whether the specified password matches the password that is recorded.
- Use For Cvent Interface
- Select this check box to ensure the gateway agent have
access to the Cvent Interface.Note: To activate the Cvent Interface, a Gateway Agent account must be created for the integration between the Cvent Interface and the gateway agent and this check box must be selected. The login details of the Gateway Agent account are used to enable the communication with Cvent Interface.
- Time Zone
- The current time zone from which the gateway agent is operating.
- Primary Site
- The primary site of the gateway agent.
- Module
- The module accessible by the gateway agent.
- Role
- The access level that is assigned to the gateway agent role.
- Hierarchy Authorization
- The hierarchal authorization provided to the gateway agent to view or modify units or entities within the organizational hierarchy (Division/Region/Property/Site).
- Ownership Group
- This is the security setting which determines which records the Agent account can modify based on Ownership assignment.
- Select the required check box corresponding to the gateway requests, in the Gateway Request section, to ensure the agent receives the specific access to the gateway.
- Click Save.
