Adding a chart to a report

  1. Select Reports. The Reports page is displayed.
  2. Select a folder that comprises a report to which a chart must be added.
  3. Click Chart in the Actions section corresponding to the name of the report to which a chart must be added. The Report Charts page is displayed.
  4. Click Update Data Now in the Data Refresh section. The Chart Data Update Queued page is displayed.
    Note: The chart is a graphical representation of data that is stored in the report. If you create a new chart, the Update Data Now option must be selected to refresh the data in the chart. When new data is added to a report, the data must be refreshed. You can update the data manually using the Update Data Now option or schedule the data update using the Enable Scheduled Updates option.
  5. Click Done. The Report Charts page is displayed.
  6. Click the New Chart card. The report chart page is displayed.
  7. Specify this information in the Chart Settings section:
    Name
    The name of the chart.
    Type
    The type of the chart displayed in the report.
    Note: 
    • If the value in this field is set to Pie or donut, the Value field is displayed.
    • If the value in this field is set to Bar or Column, the X Axis and Y Axis fields are displayed.
    • If the value in this field is set to Line, Bar (Grouped), Bar (Stacked), Bubble, Column (Stacked), or Column (Grouped), the Compare Multiple Columns from Report check box along with the Component, X Axis and Y Axis fields are displayed.
    Show Count
    Select this check box to view the total number of rows based on the data in the report.
    Note: 
    • If this check box is selected and the Type is set to Pie or Donut, the Value field is not displayed.
    • If this check box is selected and the Type is set to Bar, Column, Line, Bar (Grouped), Bar (Stacked), Bubble, Column (Stacked), or Column (Grouped), the Y Axis field is not displayed.
    Compare Multiple Columns from Report
    Select this check box for a comparative analysis of multiple columns in the report.
    Note: If this check box is selected, the Compare Columns field is displayed to view the data side by side.
  8. Click Save.
